What are the formats that we can restore?
We are capable of restoring a wide variety of formats, with regards to images it could be negatives, positives, 120mm, slides, illustrations, portraits and murals as well as any moving image in any format be it 1in., 2in., 8mm, 16mm, 35mm or 70mm or video format in VHS, U-Matic, Betacam and Digital Betacam. How long does the process of Restoration take?
The length of the Restoration production process depends on the length of the film or the extent of damage to the image. At DRME we first transfer all your footage or images on to a digital format. After which we assess if there is damage and if Restoration is required. Once restored and transferred we can provide archiving solutions or deliver the final output to the client on their desired medium.
What is the cost involved in Restoration?
This depends on the condition of the footage or image under consideration, the complexity of the scenes involved, the final outcome required by the client as well as the urgency of completion by the client. However, we can also do a sample if you have large amounts of footage or images to be restored to give you a better idea of our excellent services.
How secure is my project during Restoration?
